Navneet Johal

"Last year I took part in Walk Together for Bowel Cancer UK because I want to help raise awareness of the disease. The more I read about it, the more I see bowel cancer can affect people of all ages. You are not too young. You are not too healthy. You are not too strong. It can affect us all."

Frances Abel

"I’m 76 years of age. My bowel cancer diagnosis comes more of a shock to me now, two years on, than it did at the very beginning. I was happy to join Walk Together to highlight how bowel cancer affects so many lives and can be a deadly disease. I completed 6.7 miles and raised nearly £600."

Kate Calder

"I organised a Walk Together event to support my mum who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2009. I also raised money to give publicity to the disease so more people are aware of what bowel cancer is, what it looks like and what the symptoms are."
